A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I’m not busy creating art, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, working as a Project Manager and Pinterest Manager, camping, diving into a good book, and cheering on our local Grand Rapids sports teams.

2. Why do you make art?

I create art because it's a part of me... it allows me to express emotions, stories, and ideas that words can’t fully capture. It's my way of finding beauty in the ordinary, and sharing vibrant energy with the world. Art challenges me and lets me continually discover new aspects of myself and the world around me.

3. What inspires you?

There is not one thing that inspires me, it's everything around me — nature, colors, emotions, family, sounds, experiences.

4. What/who are your influences?

If we're talking about the artists that influence me, then currently Jodie King, Jessica Hitchcock, Simon Bull, my son Henry.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Pink.
