A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

When I’m not making art, I might be playing the piano or mandolin, baking granola, taking a walk, traveling, gardening or hula hooping.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because it soothes my soul and calms my mind. Collage is my tactile oasis in this tech-heavy world.

3. What inspires you?

I’m inspired by found papers, colors, textures, light, nature, music and getting outside.

4. What/who are your influences?

Romare Bearden, Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Scott Joplin, composer and musician.
