1. What other profession is similar to being an artist and why?
Maybe dentist, engineer or scientist. I could see a lot of professions that require abilities that an artist has.
2. What’s the nicest thing you can remember someone said about your work, or an individual piece?
Beautiful!!! It also makes me happy when people recognize the place I am painting and say that’s their favorite place.
3. What’s one thing you’d like everyone to know about you as an artist?
I am very curious and appreciate all forms of art. I started drawing as a child when I found a charcoal after a fire and my curiosity is getting even bigger as I get older. I am constantly learning by trying new art forms or teaching Art classes.
4. What was the last piece of art that you saw that blew you away?

5. What’s something you haven’t done but you want to do in art/painting?
Maybe pottery. I also want to learn how to make NFTs of my art.
I think they are both great. I prefer a little more Delacroix. His paintings have more energy and passion. Also, he is giving more attention to the color. In his paintings he is trying to capture the spirit of the scene.
*The reason we ask about Delacroix and Ingres is because they were contemporaries with wildly different styles!
