Tension Point

Visual Articulations by Rachael Tamez

In Rachael Tamez’s work there is a meeting point between her inclination toward design & order, and the chaos of allowing the work to guide her process entirely. The tension between what might seem like contradictory impulses provides a constant energy source in her paintings.

Join us Saturday March 7th at the AllArtWorks Viewing Studio for a chance to meet the artist and engage with this unique body of work.

The Cafe: a Legacy of Fine Art

Fri. April 7rd, 7-9pm

The Cafe: a Legacy of Fine Art

Presented by AllArtWorks & Aldea Coffee

Benefitting the AllArtWorks Foundation & Aldea Coffee

The AllArtWorks Foundation is pleased to present The Cafe: a Legacy of Fine Art in collaboration with Aldea Coffee at 117 Washington Ave, April 7th, 7-9pm, featuring AllArtWorks artists from the Grand Haven area.

AllArtWorks has proudly curated the walls of Aldea Coffee’s beautiful cafes since their earliest days. AllArtWorks’ mission of representing artists from all walks of life and experience level from anywhere in the world, and our conviction that Art is for Everyone, is echoed in Aldea’s mission of People before Profit through their direct partnerships with farmers, ensuring small coffee growers are appropriately compensated and recognized for their invaluable work, while providing the highest level coffee experience to West Michigan.

Historically, cafes have played an important role in the lives of millions of artists from around the world. They have represented a third place, apart from the isolation of the studio, and outside of the other realities of home, work, and family. They are unique as they have provided a place where the artist could spend time with colleagues and were therefore critical for mental well-being and camaraderie.

And those cafes thought they were just serving coffee…

Please join us for this one-night event. All sales benefit The AllArtWorks Foundation non-profit, with 10% going toward Aldea Coffee’s non-profit.
