Collection: Bette DelVecchio

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I’m retired, so I can devote as much time to art as I please. I travel a bit, get together with friends, cook and invite friends over to help eat what I cook.

2. Why do you make art?

Because it’s so fulfilling, it makes me happy. I hope that what I create will make others happy too.

3. What inspires you?

Angles, colors, nature.

4. What/who are your influences?

Delores Fortuna is absolutely the best potter and I learned much from her. I love Gustav Klimt, de Kooning and Kandinsky!

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Wow, that’s a tough one. Quan Yin is who I would choose.
