A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST
1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).
I am a full time architect-in-training. I focus mainly in higher education architecture and integrated systems.
2. Why do you make art?
I make art to explore the effects of technology and the Information Age on the design discourse and society as a whole.
3. What inspires you?
I am inspired by nature and architecture, more specifically how nature behaves in architecture.
4. What/who are your influences?
I attended Bauhaus University in Weimar Germany, so my influences stem mainly from their teachings. Walter Gropius, Josef Albers, Johannes Itten, Wassily Kandinksy, Paul Klee and LeCorbusier. I am also influenced by Jean-Michael Basquiat and Julian Schnabel.
5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?
LeCorbusier.
