1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I work full time in Sales - My goal every week is to get at least 10 - 15 hours in my studio.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art because it is in my very soul to create and share my work. I always say my brain is working very similar to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory - lots of activity and colors and “delicious” things going on. God surely gave me the gift of creativity - I must use it.

3. What inspires you?

I am inspired by nature, of course. Also I am inspired by the passion and interests of my community of friends and family. The passion and hard work of other artists inspire me as well.

4. What/who are your influences?

My influences are the Impressionists and Fauvists as well as local artists.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

In the art world - I would love to meet and hang out with Monet. In the regular world - I would like to have dinner with Dirk Nowinski and his family formerly of the Dallas Mavericks as I am a huge sports fan as well.
