A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

Most of my time is spent ensconced in cats but I look forward to weekend coffee dates with my husband when we try to dress as evil as we can and wear very tall shoes. I also watch a lot of Bob's Burgers while cooking.

2. Why do you make art?

Painting is a rebellion against the absurdity of existence.

3. What inspires you?

American Punk Rock, French Existentialism, British Television, Ethiopian Food.

4. What/who are your influences?

Poison Ivy and Lux Interior and their relationship with each other. Two sexy eccentrics who fully support each other's wild ideas and antics. That's the way to be.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Ivan Albright.
