1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am usually thinking about my next painting or taking photos for my next painting.

2. Why do you make art?

I had a lot of people who encouraged me as a child because I loved to draw (evidently, I was pretty good at it because my high school art teacher encouraged me to go to art school on the college level after graduation.)

3. What inspires you?

I love this quote from Monet: “The richness I achieve comes from nature, the source of my inspiration.”

4. What/who are your influences?

I love the Impressionist painters, especially Monet. I also am a big fan of Michelangelo.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

That’s a hard one. I’ve never been particularly impressed by famous people. There are many people I admire but I fear I might become disillusioned if I actually met some of them (maybe George Washington, Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, the Bronte sisters, Marilyn Monroe, Bob Dylan, and of course Monet and Michelangelo)…
