A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

Making art is my day job. I am a full time painter and illustrator.

2. Why do you make art?

I create artwork because it is a gift that the Most High gave and I use it to share his glory.

3. What inspires you?

Life inspires me. Whether it be the joys or the despair, I am a believer that art imitates life. I have a mission to empower the viewer of my work with knowledge and truth.

4. What/who are your influences?

My upbringing is really my influence. The pop culture of the 90's to the 2010's has given me a lot of material to pull from.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

My father. I lost him in a shooting when I was 15 months old. I grew up with plenty of pictures of him but it would be very very beneficial if I could talk to him in the flesh. Ask him questions about fatherhood, marriage and all the things I am currently going through.
