A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST
1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).
Teaching, showing artwork and creating art events in my community. I also enjoy spending time skiing, biking, going to the beach and hanging out with my family.
2. Why do you make art?
I make art because it keeps me balanced and creating gives me energy.
3. What inspires you?
Color and the nature I see around me inspires me.
4. What/who are your influences?
I have had so many people here on earth who influence and encourage me in my art practice. However, the major influence seems to come from a higher power. The creative energy is not mine, I am just a vehicle for the creative energy around me.
5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?
This type of question always stumps me. Because who I would like to meet with changes all the time. At the moment I would really love to talk with Hilma af Klint and Elaine de Kooning.
