A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I’m a Mother to the coolest four year old! I enjoy visiting Lake Michigan with my daughter, spending time with family, and photography.

2. Why do you make art?

The bigger the emotion, the bigger the painting! Visual expression has always felt very authentic to me.

3. What inspires you?

Music, my daughter’s genuine happiness, London, sunset chasing…being told I can’t do something.

4. What/who are your influences?

Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Claude Monet, Imogen Heap, Frida Kahlo-and so many more!

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Audrey Hepburn.
