Why Start a Foundation — Art is for Everyone
Not enough people have access to art in their daily lives. The AllArtWorks Foundation seeks to increase access and ownership of art.
The AllArtWorks motto has always been “Art is for Everyone.” It is a summary of our entire brand mission—to create a culture where art is for everyone.
Access to fine art has not always been readily available. Particularly ownership of fine art. That is, one-of-a-kind original artwork. A Study by the National Endowment for the Arts indicates that only 20% of Americans report owning artwork.
By building a platform that showcases the broad talent of artists at all price levels and opening a viewing studio where individuals from every walk of life can come and experience the transformative power of art, AllArtWorks has forever changed the fine art experience.
Even so, a large barrier to art ownership remains—the large number of Americans who simply cannot afford art at any price. According to MarketWatch, nearly 70% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, while 50% consider themselves broke.Consider these numbers when contemplating who has access to art in their daily lives. Consider also the impact of art on quality of life—particularly in the most disaffected communities in the United States.
The AllArtWorks Foundation has been established to help close this gap by providing access to ownership of art, access to free elevated art experiences, and proximity to the deep cultural importance of art.
